Awareness Initiative 2007
Within the past two years the Board and Management of PPRI, as part of a strategic plan, identified a need and an opportunity for an awareness/branding campaign which targeted the people within our community. The object of the awareness campaign is to create a positive and accurate awareness of the organization.
The Campaign was done by a marketing committee of key board and staff members with pro bono guidance and services provided by John Duffy, president of Duffy and Shanley, a Providence based advertising agency and Don Keinz, President of Arcadia Consulting Group, a Providence based strategic marketing firm. With the help of many people, including our donors, we have successfully gotten our campaign off the ground.
We have seen a number of positive increases at PPRI. Our patient services have increased by 27% (new patients) and 18% (existing patients). We nearly doubled our HIV testing number and saw a 55% increase in providing sexuality education to youth from last year.
